A blank Linux box, root shell included
Sometimes you just want a Linux machine: apt install what you need, run your scripts, poke at the network. This is that — Ubuntu, Debian or Alpine with a root terminal that opens in your browser, ten seconds after you click launch.

Why host Ubuntu machine here
Terminal in the browser
A real root shell the moment it boots — no SSH keys, no client, no first-login ritual.
Your distro
Ubuntu, Debian or Alpine, picked at creation. apt/apk works like you'd expect.
Honest about what it is
This is a shared-kernel Linux container, not a KVM virtual machine — which is why it starts in seconds and costs less. No kernel modules or nested Docker.
Persistent disk
Your filesystem lives on a volume that survives restarts — set it up once, keep it forever.
Ubuntu machine hosting FAQ
Is this a real VPS?
It's a Linux container, not a KVM virtual machine: you share the host kernel but have your own isolated filesystem, network, RAM and CPU caps. For running software, scripts and services it feels like a VPS — it just can't load kernel modules or run its own Docker daemon.
What can I install?
Anything userland: language runtimes, web servers, game tools, cron jobs, CLIs. If apt or apk can install it and it doesn't need kernel access, it runs.
How do I access it?
The browser terminal is always there — full root shell with copy/paste. Files can be managed through the dashboard file manager too.
