How much is a game server?

Game server plans start at CHF 9.90/mo for a small server and scale up for larger, modded or networked servers. Player counts shown are estimates, not guarantees.

Do prices include VAT, and what currency?

Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF), net of VAT. We add 8.1% Swiss VAT on top at checkout (VAT no. CHE-460.493.542 MWST). Quarterly and yearly billing save 5% and 15%.

How is the price calculated?: Every plan is built from one formula — a base fee plus memory, CPU and storage. The named plans are convenient presets; “Build a custom size” prices any combination the same way.
Can I change plan later?: Yes. Resize a project up or down at any time; the price adjusts to the new resources. Nothing is locked in.
Is a Linux container the same as a VPS?: No. A Linux container shares the host kernel — it’s isolated with its own root, storage and SSH, but it isn’t a full virtual machine. KVM VPS (real VMs with their own kernel) is coming later.
What about VAT and payment?: Prices are shown in CHF, net of VAT. We add 8.1% Swiss VAT on top (VAT no. CHE-460.493.542 MWST) — the total including VAT is shown in the estimate. During the beta, no payment is collected.
